Friday: Living for the Weekend

17 May

Happy Friday everyone!!!

It’s FINALLY Friday and I’m ALIVE!!!  This weekend is going to be a busy one for me.  Saturday I have race packet pick up for the BAM FI 5k  and The Color Run.  I finished my all white tutu for The Color Run and I can’t wait to get it covered in all that bright cornstarch.  The BAM FI 5k is close to my heart because this race benefits the efforts to find African Americans who are missing.  When a loved one is missing, it is a horrifying ordeal, but it hurts me to see that we don’t get the same media outpouring when one of “us” goes missing.

I will make sure I post PLENTY of pictures from The Color Run this weekend and if I get to make it, The Taste of Arlington being held in Ballston after the race!  Have a great weekend!!!
