McDonald’s Sample Budget For Employees Suggests Getting A Second Job And Living Without Heat

16 Jul

My question is: Who has 600 dollar rent??

Thought Catalog

As Death and Taxes points out, McDonald’s and Visa have taken it upon themselves to show minimum-wage McDonald’s employees how to balance their budgets. And the bad news is…it’s nearly impossible to live a comfortable or even halfway-comfortable life on minimum wage! For starters, you’re going to need a second job. And I hope you don’t care about heat in the winter. As the great Chris Rock once said (I’m paraphrasing), when they pay you minimum wage what they’re saying is, “If I could pay you less…I would. But it’s against the law.” [tc-mark]
